RTD without Protection Tube
RTDs without protection sheath are generally used for temperature measurement upto 600 deg cel. They are suited for surface temperature measurement as well as measurements of liquid and gases. Depending on connection type, RTD consist of 2, 3, 4 & 6 copper feed lines/ Conductors which are insulated in MgO powder and are surrounded by metallic sheath.
